"Seamless Services" is a European research project investigating the construction and use of future network information services for mobile and non-mobile users. Our objectives are to develop new innovative methods and techniques for dynamic administration, representation, communication and presentation of information and data - in order to enable seamless access to networks services whatever access medium being used. "Seamless Services" is a 3-year research project (2001-2004), involving several partners, managed by NORUT Information Technology, and funded by Norwegian Industry and The Research Council of Norway under contract no. 145249/223. Participants are NORUT Information Technology AS, Tromsø, Norway Department of Computer Science, University of Twente, The Netherlands Dualog AS, Tromsø, Norway Well Diagnostics AS, Tromsø, Norway Mobinor AS, Asker, Norway Norsk Råfisklag, Tromsø, Norway Asker Kommune, Asker, Norway "Seamless Services" is also involved in an international research project currently known as SMART, where we study efficient architectures for seamless services on heterogeneous wireless networks.
